Big Trolley - Terms & Conditions - Payment Methods

TERMS OF BUSINESS (TRADE CUSTOMERS/RETAILERS)

These are the terms of business of Barry Williams trading as Big Trolley for light removals and retail collection services (together the "Services").

Where the Retailer introduces Big Trolley to the Customer with a view to Big Trolley supplying the Services direct to the Customer the Retailer shall supply the Customer with a copy of Big Trolley’s Terms of Business for Consumers. If the Retailer fails to do so, the Retailer will be deemed to have placed the order with Big Trolley for the supply of such Services and the order will be subject to these terms of business.

  1. Big Trolley will carry out the Services using reasonable care and skill.
  2. Big Trolley may at any time inter-change items between vehicles and may choose the route and means by which the items are carried.
  3. Any time estimates given by Big Trolley are approximate only and are not of contractual effect. However, Big Trolley will take all reasonable steps to carry out the Services as quickly as possible.
  4. Payment shall be made on completion of the Services provided always that Big Trolley shall be entitled in its absolute discretion to require part or full payment of the price prior to carrying out the Services as a condition of carrying out the Services.
  5. Subject to clause 4 Big Trolley shall be entitled to invoice the Retailer for the price of the Services at any time after the Services have been supplied. If the Retailer fails to pay any invoice submitted by Big Trolley within 30 days Big Trolley shall be entitled to charge interest at 4% per annum above the base rate of Barclays Bank Plc from the date of the invoice until payment in full is made.
  6. The Retailer shall:-
    a) provide, and shall procure that the Customer provides, Big Trolley promptly with any information Big Trolley may reasonably require in order to carry out the Services;

    b) afford Big Trolley full, safe and prompt access to its premises for the purposes of carrying out the Services; and

    c) provide Big Trolley with such other facilities as may be necessary for the provision of the Services.
  7. Except in respect of death or personal injury caused by Big Trolley's negligence Big Trolley shall not be liable to the Retailer by reason of any representation (unless fraudulent) or any implied warranty, condition or other terms or any duty at common law or under the express terms hereof for any indirect, special, consequential loss or damage (whether for loss of profit or otherwise) costs, expenses or other claims for compensation whatsoever which arise out of or in connection with carrying out the Services and the entire liability of Big Trolley under or in connection with the contract shall not exceed £10,000.
  8. Big Trolley shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations under these terms of business due to unforeseen circumstances or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
  9. Any claims under these terms of business shall be notified to Big Trolley within 48 hours.
  10. These terms of business supersede any prior agreement between the parties. The parties acknowledge that these terms of business contain the entire agreement between them and that the Retailer has not relied upon any oral or written representations made by Big Trolley.
  11. Nothing in these terms of business shall confer, or is intended to confer, a benefit on any third party for the purposes of the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

TERMS OF BUSINESS (CONSUMERS)

These are the terms of business of Barry Williams trading as Big Trolley for light removals and retail collection services (together the "Services").

Nothing in these terms of business shall affect the Customer's statutory rights as a consumer.

  1. Big Trolley will carry out the Services using reasonable care and skill.
  2. Big Trolley may at any time inter-change items between vehicles and may choose the route and means by which the items are carried.
  3. Any time estimates given by Big Trolley are approximate only and are not of contractual effect. However, Big Trolley will take all reasonable steps to carry out the Services as quickly as possible.

PAYMENT METHODS

We accept cash and cheques and you are welcome to pay by credit or debit card as we have the facilities to accept these transactions whilst on location. Credit and debit card transactions keep payments simple, immediate and completely secure. It also means all your payments and orders are completely accountable.

Whenever you pay us we will give you a receipt carrying a unique receipt number to confirm your payment. Our receipt copy is securely stored away. If you have any subsequent questions regarding your payment or our level of service, please quote this receipt number and we will retrieveyour details from our system. Telephone bookings
Wherever you happen to be locally, you are welcome to call us day or night. If we are unavailable to take your call, you may be transferred to our telephone operators who will take your details and arrange for us to call you back to confirm your booking.

We happily accept bookings for regular collection and delivery work and, in such cases, can make special payment arrangements.

E-mail bookings
If you would like to book us, you may also use e-mail. However it is important that you await confirmation from us, either by telephone or e-mail, before assuming your preferred time and date is available.
